Dr. Muhammad Kashlan is the Founder and Medical Director of Alpha Urgent Care. A compassionate, dedicated, and highly knowledgeable physician, he brings over 23 years of extensive experience in Emergency, Urgent Care, and Critical Care Medicine.
Board-Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Critical Care Medicine, Dr. Kashlan currently serves as the Intensive Care Unit Medical Director at Henry Ford Rochester Hospital. His core philosophy, "Patients Come First", inspired him to establish Alpha Urgent Care to address the overwhelmed health system he saw firsthand during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring accessible healthcare options for the community.
Dr. Kashlan's distinguished medical background includes graduating from the Facility of Medicine at Damascus University (1989), an Internal Medicine residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital in New York (1994), and fellowships in Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Wayne State University (1998). He is a respected Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and a member of the Urgent Care Association, American Medical Association, and American Thoracic Society. Dr. Kashlan was also recently honored as one of Metro Detroit's Top Doctors by Hour Detroit Magazine.
