Dr. Muhammad Kashlan is the Founder and Medical Director of Alpha Urgent Care.
He is Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the field of Critical Care Medicine, and currently serves as the Intensive Care Unit Medical Director at Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital.
He is a dedicated, compassionate, and knowledgeable physician with more than 23 years of experience in Emergency, Urgent Care and Critical Care medicine.
He adopts the “Patients Come First” philosophy. He decided to establish his clinics after the COVID 19 pandemic overwhelmed the health care system and created long emergency room wait times, and suboptimal care.
Dr. Kashlan graduated in 1989 from the Facility of Medicine at Damascus University in Syria. In 1994, Dr. Kashlan completed his Internal Medicine residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital, Cornell Medical Center in New York. He then completed his fellowships in Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Wayne State University in 1998. He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and a member of Urgent Care Association, American Medical Association, and American Thoracic Society. Dr. Kashlan was rated one of Metro Detroit’s Top Doctors by Hour Detroit Magazine.
